Q: What is Learning on Call™ (LOC)?

A: It’s a revolution in training delivery! LOC is the easiest, fastest, and most timely method for obtaining over 100 rich media HR, Safety & Sales training programs from the best producers.

Q: What makes Learning on Call™ unique?

A: LOC allows your staff to obtain training at their desks, at home, in the classroom or anywhere there is Internet access. Your managers and their people schedule their training whenever and wherever they want. LOC is always ready to go!

Q: Will employees be able to preview the titles?

A: Yes. There will be short preview clips at the website of 2 to 3 minutes, as well as full length previews.

Q: How do managers and employees access the LOC site

A: LOC is web-based. Whether the titles are stored on your network or our servers, employees will access your custom website, enter their e-mail address (which we will authenticate), and receive a password from our system. They may continue to use their password, or change it. On future visits, they will be asked for this e-mail address and password.

Q: How does LOC work?

A: It’s simple! You browse the branded LOC website and select the training programs you want. Use the easy online tools to find the best ones for your needs. View a clip, or full preview of the rich media program right then and there on your PC - played from your local network server, or, if you are out of the office, streamed over the Internet.

Q: How do I play videos from my local network?

A: We provide an external hard drive that plugs into your local server’s USB port. All of the videos are there. Each video is played from your server so you have no firewall or bandwidth issues that often hamper Internet streaming. And the quality is truly outstanding. Outside the office you can view programs over the Internet from our master server - giving your staff complete flexibility!

Q: What subjects are included in the LOC library?

A: The basic library covers the key categories of HR and compliance training – harassment prevention, diversity, leadership, teamwork, communications, coping with change, time management, safety…and many more.

Q: How will my employees be informed about the service?

A: Learning Communications will provide a customer branded website for your employees with the LOC service with appropriate web pages, search engine, title lists, learning objectives, descriptions, running times, previews.

Q: Can we add our own proprietary programs to the library?

A: Yes. The LOC service is designed to be flexible and deliver customer proprietary programs. A modest set-up fee will be required to digitize, store and deliver customer titles and add information to the customer branded website.

Q: Does LOC provide LMS type services and reports?

A: The LOC service includes monthly detailed utilization reports by employee/ by title.

Q: Are support materials available for LOC programs?

A: Yes. We provide training leaders guides, participant materials, PowerPoints® and other materials which are designed for classroom learning at Learning Communications’s website: (www.Learning Communications.com).

Q: Will the LOC service be updated?

A: Yes. As new titles are produced, and additional producers sign up, the library will grow.

Q: Is there a pilot or demonstration site where we can test the service?

A. Yes. You can see LOC in action at www.learningoncall.com.

Q: How are the program copyrights protected?.

A: LOC uses Microsoft Digital Rights Management encryption, the best copyright protection available today.

Q: What does the LOC service cost?

A: The first year LOC license fee includes:

1. Year One License: License fee includes our cost to provide the titles to your employee population, customizing the branded website, technical support, storage and delivery, updating, advice on title selection. It is based on the number of employees in your organization that you want to access the system and their locations. The License also covers the first year utilization.

2. Subsequent Year License: Payments based on the actual utilization of the service by your employees in the first year and continuity of all components of the service.
